So I went to see The Help today with my mum, we were both super excited since we both read the book and loved it. We made our way to the theatre for the early pre-noon-half-price showing, and of course loaded up on popcorn. The trailer for this Rachel McAdams movie came on called *looks it up* …the vow came on and the theatre was really quiet because its about some newlyweds that get into a car accident or something and the wife doesn’t remember who her husband is. My my laughed really loud at the moment this is realized in the trailer. I can’t even remember the rest of it because I giggled at my mum through it. It is no question where my disdain for sappy romantic films comes from. This isn’t even the first time this has happened when I’ve gone with her to a movie.
